New Green Vault

The New Green Vault complements the Historic Green Vault perfectly and is one of the most famous and magnificent treasure chamber museums worldwide. During a tour, visitors can admire over 1000 precious exhibits from three centuries, including the “Court of the Great Mogul Aureng-Zeb,” adorned with 4909 diamonds, 160 rubies, 164 emeralds, a sapphire, 16 pearls, and two cameos. The exhibition in mirror-free, optimally lit showcases allows guests to view the treasures up close and be enchanted by the abundance of details. Also on display is a small marvel: a cherry pit with “185 faces,” a masterpiece of miniature carving.
