Dresden City Art Gallery

The permanent exhibition of the municipal art museum provides an overview of Dresden’s art scene from the 20th and 21st centuries. Works by artists such as Eugen Bracht, Robert Diez, Hubertus Giebe, Ernst Grämer, Hans Grundig, Olaf Holzapfel, Kai Hügel, Eric Johansson, Hans Jüchser, Ralf Kerbach, Hans Körnig, Karl Kröner, Georg Lührig, Kurt Magritz, Wilhelm Müller, Hermann Naumann, Rudolf Nehmer, Dietrich Nitzsche, Charlotte Sommer-Landgraf, Robert Sterl, Erika Streit, and Werner Wittig are on display.

In the adjacent project space, thematic cabinet exhibitions take place, showcasing selected works of contemporary art. Additionally, the museum regularly hosts special exhibitions in cooperation with national and international partners.
